NINTENDO APPROVED THE ABILITY TO SCAN SHOVEL KNIGHT AMIIBO WHILE BOXED

So as you all know, customers who’ve bought the Shovel Knight amiibo have been able to scan it, without having to remove the amiibo from its packaging.

Well, it turns out that it’s meant to scan while boxed! This was actually approved by Nintendo, after Yacht Club Games pitched this idea. Due to them being aware that amiibo collectors usually don’t like unboxing their figures just to scan them for games, the developers wanted to make sure there were no blocking strips in their Shovel Knight amiibo boxes.
